Youth Ministry

 
The Youth Ministry of Grace Church welcomes and supports our youth and their families, inspires and guides their spiritual growth as followers of Christ, and empowers them to serve the church and the world.

Wednesday Night Youth Group (YF)
September through May
 
Join your friends as we gather on Wednesay Nights to get connected with each other and God.  We will meet to discuss relevant issues of faith and livng as a follower of Christ.  Take part in many fun fellowship activities scheduled throughout the year.  some of our ministry projects include annual mission trips, prayer garden, nursing and assisted living facility projects, community service, VBS, and worship team participation.

GUMppets - Youth Puppet Ministry
Youth grade 6-12 are invited to be part of our puppet ministry.  Rehearsals are Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. with participation in at least two worship services each month and several community performances. Youth enjoy creating and writing scripts in addition to performing.
 
Uzone--After school Drop-in and Tutoring Center
Opened in 2007, the Uzone provides an after school community gathering place for youth in grades 6-12.  Both adult and peer mentors/tutors show God's love and acceptance to all youth, in addition to providing them with help and encouragement to excel personally and academically.  Available to youth are outdoor games, board games, internet access, tutoring, snacks for purchase, music, TV, books and fellowship opportunities.
 
Summer Tutoring - June-July - is available to youth grades 3-12.  The Uzone is located on property adjacent to the Paynesville High/Middle School, at 805 Hwy 55.  The telephone is 320-243-9663.  Email:  uzone@windstream.net
